Overview

When Linecross got in touch with the DSQ team, we were amazed to discover the UK’s largest independent vacuum forming company, working with some of the most prestigious UK car brands, is based just down the road in South Luffenham!

Linecross built up their clients solely through their enviable reputation and word-of-mouth and had reached the point where their growth overtook their capacity, so a recruitment drive was necessary.

We quickly understood why they were finding recruitment challenging, as their online presence was minimal and didn’t clearly showcase their people or processes.

Moulding the future

Our content team started their mission to raise the profile of Linecross with a digital content strategy to elevate the company’s focus on innovation, its extensive range of processes and its ability to work across different sectors from concept to production.

We wanted to shine the spotlight on their team; armed with eye-catching images from a people-focused photoshoot, we created a series of profiles to launch a new social campaign – #mouldingthefuture.

We further embedded this campaign with process-based timelapse videos to unveil a full ‘behind the scenes’ look at what goes on in their world-class manufacturing sites.

In the first 3 months, Linecross saw a 500% increase in their LinkedIn following.

Time Lapse Footage

Our team visited the two Linecross sites to create timelapse footage of their complete range of processes, showcasing what goes on behind the scenes and their unique one stop shop capability.

The use of SVG Animations

We used SVG animations to showcase the various parts that Linecross manufacture for different sectors. Animated SVGs are fully responsive and maintain quality irrespective of screen size compared to standard video formats. They also have the added advantage of offering an SEO-friendly solution, as search engines can interpret any included text.

Digital innovation

With the content marketing proving effective, Linecross tasked our digital team with designing and developing a new website. The first stage of this process included introducing a new colour palette using teal and yellow to bring the Linecross blue and white to life.

Having the creative scope to build a site to effectively showcase the new photography, process videos and content strategy with the user experience embedded throughout will push their marketing strategy to the next phase and we’re very excited to see the result. Watch this space!
