CF Social Group is a leading provider of high-quality expert social work and a thriving education service for young people struggling to access mainstream school.
They approached us to create a coherent and consistent brand identity to be used across the different services in the CF Social Group, including education, social work and the children’s homes. The brand needed to reflect the group values, putting the needs of children, young people and their families and carers at the heart of everything they do whilst showcasing the growth and innovative approach of the company.
The Dsquared brand team started the project by looking at the naming conventions of the services to ensure the brand identity would work seamlessly across the group. After the team created a suite of branding concepts, CF Social Group chose the ‘Ray of Light’ design.
The beacon of light shining from the letter C infers the ray of hope that CF Social strive to provide, helping young people and those around them move out of the darkness and into the light. The visual device also resembles a megaphone, creating a nod to the experienced voice of the company.
Once the new branding was rolled out across CF Social Groups marketing materials, the Dsquared digital team worked on the design and build of their new website in Craft CMS, which would bring the brand to life online. It was important for us to put the user experience at the centre of this project, with clear navigation and signposting we harnessed the new colour palette to help the distinct services stand-out to create a multisite feel.
