CIPS entrusted Dsquared to rebrand and promote their new qualification format to their large learner base. As a large segment of CIPS overall offering, we were tasked with engaging both existing and prospective students whilst informing them of the changes using their knowledge and authority in the procurement and supply arena.

After the initial planning and research phase, we proposed a new identity for the renewed CIPS qualifications in order to position them effectively with the overarching brand. The Dsquared creative team designed a stand-out and bold qualification identity, ‘Orbs’, intriguing yet clear and derived from previous collateral. 

This identity helped to encourage students and the industry to grasp the format changes and embrace the results of these amendments. The ‘Orbs’ were created with all marketing platforms in mind, and the design features offered flexibility and impact in digital and print with static and animated formats.

The result was a suite of eye-catching promotional material, including brochures, syllabus guides, fact sheets, press adverts, newsletters, landing pages, emails, web banners, social media advertising through to CIPS own qualification online system and e-learning portal. 

Our brief was to develop a simplified qualification finder tool to enable prospective students to search for a course by study centre and type.

We built a user-centric pathway incorporating clean design with easy to digest information. The filters and category types allowed CIPS to easily manage their course content whilst providing the user the ability to weigh up their options from the results page. Our focus with this project was to strip the experience back, putting the searcher back in control so they are no longer overwhelmed with options.
