Like many businesses, we closed the office doors in March and engineered our own home offices in order to remain fully operational and continue serving our clients. It’s all gone very well and we’ve seamlessly ploughed on with it all whilst enjoying video meetings with each other and our clients.
As the lockdown measures begin to ease, we are now dusting off the desks and welcoming staff back to the office. To comply with the government guidance, there are quite a few changes in place.
Before anyone returns we have created, shared and will be adhering to, our Covid Commandments when in the office. All staff have been issued with a digital handbook and a hardcopy for the office, and when the time comes, we will issue the commandments to visitors prior to their arrival at the office. The studio has hand sanitisers at all entrances, cleaning products in all busy areas and plenty of visual reminders of the new office rules.
At the moment, not everyone can be in the office at once, but those that can go in will actually be able to converse and see what each other is up to without the clicks of buttons. This is our first big step closer to normality, albeit with extra flourishes like social distancing, outside meetings, more handwashing, extra cleaning, remembering the new route to navigate around the office and sanitising.
The full team may not be in the office yet, but the full team is still very much working together. We’re making the most of our messenger apps, video calls, morning catch up conferences and congregating in the virtual pub for our Friday night after work drinks!
Hopefully it won’t be too much longer until we can welcome you back too, and when we can, you can be assured that we’ve minimised risks to keep you safe.
